Clinical physiologists deliver key scientific and diagnostic roles within a Healthcare setting (Primary or Secondary) spanning the disciplines of cardiovascular physiology, respiratory, neurophysiology, audiology and sleep physiology. Physiologists provide the crucial backbone of clinical diagnostics and health monitoring within a medical environment, supporting disease prevention and developing future treatment strategies.

Physiological scientists investigate the functioning of body systems to diagnose abnormalities, providing key scientific and technological roles in the prevention, diagnosis and monitoring of disease. Clinical physiologists must combine highly specialist knowledge, skills and analytical problem solving with patient care and support to provide high quality modern healthcare.
